When I was in Paris, I came across this bridge with a bunch of locks on it. I took a closer look and saw that people had inscribed their initials/names/dates/etc onto the locks. I saw one couple lock their lock onto the bridge, take the key, and throw it into the river. They kissed and stood there contently looking at their lock. The locks symbolize a bond and the couples love for each other. The lock can’t be removed. The bond can’t be broken.
